DECEMBER - Burning the Clock
Thursday 21 December – Burning the Clocks Winter Solstice event. Annually there is a community lantern parade through the city finishing with a firework display from the beach by Madeira Drive. Designed to celebrate the winter solstice, this event has around 20,000 spectators.
